Compliance Process

A proportionate process for counterparty, commodity, corridor and document review; not a guarantee or legal opinion.

Counterparty

Company identity, ownership information where available, authorised contact and commercial role are reviewed before a qualified introduction.

Commodity and claims

Material description, origin, specification, certification and lawful status are checked against the evidence supplied. Independent verification may be required.

Corridor

Sanctions, export or import controls, classification, destination acceptance and logistics constraints are considered according to the transaction.

Decision and escalation

Missing, inconsistent or high-risk evidence can pause or stop a file. Final compliance, legal and contractual responsibility remains with the parties and their advisers.
