Used cooking oil for renewable fuel production.
Used cooking oil is oil recovered after food preparation. For industrial procurement, its value depends on verified waste origin, its chemical and physical condition, and the receiving plant's acceptance requirements.
UCOME biodiesel applications
UCO can be processed into fatty acid methyl ester biodiesel through a suitable pretreatment and conversion process. Free fatty acids, moisture and contamination affect processing needs. The refinery must approve the agreed feedstock specification before purchase.
Waste-derived feedstock for SAF
UCO can also serve as an input to eligible renewable aviation fuel production pathways. Raw UCO is not SAF. Feedstock acceptance, process suitability, sustainability criteria and the final fuel's eligibility require separate assessment by the producer and relevant certification parties.
Why origin records matter
A material's appearance cannot establish its waste status. The procurement file should link declared origin, collection or aggregation records, sustainable material quantities and the corresponding commercial shipment. Unexplained changes in origin or quantity require clarification.
Define the buying requirement
Provide the intended application, requested volume in metric tonnes, receiving specification, destination port and delivery window. Add your required sustainability documentation and proposed payment structure so that a relevant technical and commercial review can begin.
