Direct answer

Buy bulk UCO against a written requirement covering the intended use, quantity, quality limits, evidence of origin, delivery basis and payment terms. Compare documented lots on an equivalent basis and agree how the cargo will be sampled and accepted before committing.

Start with the buyer’s plant requirement

A biodiesel or renewable fuel producer should define the quality its process can accept. A generic description such as “clean UCO” does not specify acidity, water, insoluble impurities or additional contaminants. Ask the receiving plant for its specification and the analytical methods it expects.

Distinguish a trial lot from a recurring programme. State the metric tonnes per shipment, expected frequency, loading window and destination. Availability must be demonstrated for the offered lot; a claimed monthly capacity is not proof that material is ready to load.

Make each offer comparable

Request the loading place, currency, price basis, quantity tolerance and quote validity. Put transport, inspection, insurance and receiving costs on the same basis before comparing suppliers. Keep buyer acceptance separate from the seller’s indicative technical sheet.

  • Legal seller and bank beneficiary identified
  • Recent lot-specific analysis with method and units
  • Collection origin and chain of custody described
  • Named delivery place and allocated costs
  • Agreed sampling, rejection and claim procedure

Turn a qualified file into a transaction

Resolve gaps before issuing a purchase commitment. If sampling represents only a small drum rather than the proposed bulk lot, arrange a representative inspection. Confirm who appoints the inspector, which laboratory is accepted and who retains sealed samples.

Turco & Co operates as a trading desk without storage. Submit an actual buyer requirement or a documented supplier offer so that commercial assessment starts from evidence rather than an assumed stock position.

Buyer questions

Is there one minimum order for bulk UCO?

No universal minimum applies. Shipment size depends on supplier availability, transport mode and the buyer’s receiving constraints. State the required tonnes and delivery point for assessment.

Can I buy UCO from a technical data sheet alone?

A TDS describes proposed specifications. Request a lot-specific analysis and agree a representative sampling and acceptance process before purchasing.

Sources and evidence

Primary references support the stated technical definitions. Procurement checklists are editorial guidance, not evidence of a specific lot, shipment or certification.

Confirm laboratory methods, commercial terms and applicable requirements with the buyer and qualified advisers before contracting. No guide establishes stock availability or company certification.
